As part of the Festival of British Archaeology, Archaeology here at BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 will be hosting a day of hands-on activities and demonstrations.
We are planning lots for everyone to do, take part in and /or watch, including:
- Log boat live!? (making a log boat using ancient technologies)
- Medieval shipwrighting using our axe collection
- Maritime archaeology

- Will it Knap?
- Stone Age plastics
- Human Origins and a chance to meet our distant ancestors!
- Human bones
- Discoveries and finds from Old Sarum (Wiltshire)
- Peculiar Particles
- Reconstruct a face
- Learn Roman writing
- Roman pottery stamps and how to use them
- Excavation recording
- Build-a-burial
- Geophysics
- Minecraft
