The Laboratory for Social Zooarchaeology is an informal research and debate group of staff and postgraduate students exploring the social interactions between humans and other animals, in the past as well as in the present.
The Laboratory's members? are committed to a theoretically informed, non-anthropocentric zooarchaeology, beyond narrowly defined subsistence approaches which dominated the field until recently. The group continues the long tradition of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 in innovative and pioneering zooarchaeological work, and makes full use of its world renowned zooarchaeological collections and facilities. Staff and research students are also involved in the teaching of the MA in Osteoarchaeology .
