Although the days are quite full, we like to offer you socialising and entertainment opportunities. The course starts on Sunday?evening with registration and an informal buffet and reception at 19:30. On Monday evening, a guided walk has been arranged. On this occasion, you will be expected to purchase your own evening meal. On Thursday evening, there will be a formal course dinner which we hope all will attend. Lunches, morning/afternoon coffees/teas and biscuits, the formal dinner and transport within BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 are included in the fee.
Lectures and experiments will take place at the School of Chemistry on the Highfield campus, University of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载.

train service
for BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 leaves from Waterloo Station and there are 3 trains (2 fast) per hour throughout the day. BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 has two stations, BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 Central and BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 Parkway near the airport.
For those arriving by plane into Heathrow, the easiest way to BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 is by the
National Express
coach service. The coach service is two-hourly from the coach station which is adjacent to the bus station at the centre of the airport complex. The journey takes approximately 90 minutes and tickets can be purchased in the bus station. For those arriving at Gatwick there is a good train service from Gatwick direct to BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载. Alternatively, you can take the express train from Gatwick to Victoria, underground to Waterloo, and then train to BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载, but this is rather expensive. Stansted Airport is much less convenient being sited North of London. There are National Express bus services but they involve changing at Heathrow and it takes about 4 hours. By train you need to travel through London including underground between Liverpool Street and Waterloo.

For those using their car, pay and display parking is available on the university campus but spaces are quickly taken. It is best to park your car at the hotel and come in on the bus.
