BSPS Early Career award 2021
Dr Heini V?is?nen (Department of Social Statistics and Demography, and CPC at the University of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载; Institut National d'Etudes Démographiques (INED)) has been awarded the BSPS Early Career award 2021 .
The scheme is aimed at highlighting the achievements of those towards the start of their careers and who have the potential to make a significant contribution to population studies.
The committee making the decision commended Dr V?is?nen's well-rounded CV, which "includes excellent research but also substantial contributions to the discipline of population studies beyond your research, including, just as one example, the FemQuant initiative".
As the award winner, Dr V?is?nen will give a plenary on the 14th of Semptember in the upcoming BSPS conference .
