We recognise that on occasion and for a variety of reasons, members of our staff or student community may suffer stress and/or ill health. Among these reasons may be problems related to alcohol or substance misuse which affect work and study.
Where appropriate the University will look to help the person affected deal with these problems, restoring well-being and a safe, healthy and congenial working and study situation.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
You can phone at any time to talk to a qualified counsellor. The EAP’s own website also carries a lot of information on both alcohol and drugs, as well as on factors that may for some people contribute to excessive use, for example money worries.
Get free, confidential support with alcohol, drugs or mental health from one of?their local services or online.
