Assessment of Clinical Competence (ACC) Online Workshop | Medical Education | University of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载_BOB体育登录网址

This online workshop will provide an interactive opportunity for those wishing to improve their understanding and confidence in carrying out ACCs with students in years 3 – 5 of the curriculum. Delegates will have the opportunity to observe and score an ACC followed by peer referencing by comparing scores with colleagues. Lastly, the course will cover how to give constructive feedback to students to enable them to refine and improve their performance.

Who is the course for?

This course is for anyone who carries out ACCs for BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 Medical Students in Years 3 – 5 of undergraduate training. If the course is over-subscribed, priority will be given to Associate Clinical Sub-Deans and placement leads.

Learning Outcomes

This session is designed to give staff the opportunity to:

Consider the theory behind the ACC as a clinical assessment
Identify where the ACC fits in the context of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 BM curriculum
Score an ACC assessment and compare scores with colleagues
Consider how to ensure feedback to students following an ACC is specific and constructive
