MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Centre is a world-leading centre in musculoskeletal epidemiology with state-of-the-art instruments for assessing musculoskeletal health. Collaborations enable integration of genetic, epigenetic and blood biomarker analysis with clinical data for both paediatric and late-life studies.
NIHR Applied Research Centre for Wessex conducts applied health research with partners and others in the health and care sector, alongside patients and members of the public.
The University fosters interdisciplinary research through the Institute for Life Sciences which facilitates research collaborations between medicine and other disciplines across the University.
