Pod Point has an easy to use app available to iPhone and Android users. Staff can simply download the app, log in using their University email address, and follow the instructions in the user guide to charge their vehicle. If you have external visitors who require temporary access to a charger, please let the parking team know via parking@soton.ac.uk and they will be happy to register their email address to enable them to use the system.
The charging point locations are shown on the interactive campus map. When using an EV charge bay within a permit holder car park, a parking permit is not required during the charging process.
Once charging has finished we ask that the vehicle is removed promptly to give others the opportunity to charge.
