New campus bookshop

John Smith?& Son? the UK’s leading academic and specialist bookselling chain? are taking over the campus bookshop.

The new shop? which will be headed by Tony Newson as General Manager? opens on Wednesday 26 August and will stock a full range of textbooks and secondary academic books? as well as eTextbooks? fiction and general non fiction titles. The bookshop will also carry a comprehensive range of non–book lines which have proved popular with students in other John Smith’s university shops such as stationery? diaries and planners? digital products? including laptops and medical equipment. There will also be a “Refresher Zone” on the upper floor? featuring hot and cold refreshments? seating and free wi–fi access.

A ‘Back to University’ campaign for the start of the new academic year will include special offers and exclusive bundle deals on selected key textbooks; discount promotions on bestselling student series and study skills books; and a 3 for 2 promotion across a wide selection of essential stationery items. A team from John Smith’s will also be attending the Fresher’s Fair.
