Career Destinations are launching a call for interest to Schools and Services to apply to host summer interns under the Excel BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 Placement Programme. Placements will run for a three month period (12.5 weeks) from 1 July 2010 to 24 September 2010.

Research has shown that students who participate in work based learning activities experience greater success in achieving graduate level employment on completion of their studies. Placements give a student the opportunity to develop or work on a project of importance to the long-term strategy of the host School/Service? while providing day–to–day proactive and reactive support to members of their host department.

The placements will be partially funded by the Student Centeredness Budget (SCB)? which will subsidise one half of the cost. The host School/Service is to contribute the remaining half.
