Turner Sims are proud to welcome one of the most influential and versatile creative talents alive today on Tuesday 16 March at 7.30pm? when Nitin Sawhney presents a retrospective of a musician’s life in albums? performance, djing? film? composition? videogames? dance and theatre.
Nitin Sawhney is firmly established as a world–class producer? songwriter? DJ, multi-instrumentalist, orchestral composer, and cultural pioneer. He has recently released his eighth album, London Undersound, which features performances from Paul McCartney, Anoushka Shankar, Natty and Imogen Heap amongst others and specially contributed artwork from Antony Gormley. Nitin has sold-out many of the world’s most prestigious venues, and has worked with a host of artists including Sting, Paul McCartney, Sinead O’Connor, A R Rahman, Jeff Beck, Brian Eno, Fink, Will Young, and Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly.
In this unique event, Nitin reflects on the importance of collaboration and creative openness, presenting a retrospective of his work, ideas, and live performances.
