UK airspace has reopened. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office advises travellers that:
“Airlines will be responsible for bringing flight schedules back on track and passengers should check with their airline before going to their departure airport.”

If taking an alternative route back to the UK, international students are advised to check their visa conditions before travelling, as they may not be able to enter countries other than the UK as part of their journey.
Flight bookings
As of this morning, insurance companies have agreed that there is no longer a problem with cancellation cover for new travel bookings. The University’s updated guidance is that Schools and Services may now make travel bookings.
