The BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载?Marine and Maritime?Institute (SMMI), in collaboration with the University’s Fluid Structure Interactions group, are hosting a panel discussion exploring the challenges faced by the maritime industry on the route to becoming more sustainable.
Part of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载’s first Sustainability Week,?which aims to promote continued?engagement with sustainable practises, the event will take place on Wednesday 12 October from 18:00 – 20:30 in room 1125, Building 176L, Boldrewood Innovation Campus.
Panellists include:
- Mr Motonobu (Moto) Tsuchiya, principal specialist for IMO/IACS, regulatory affairs for Lloyds Register.
- Mr Tom Strang, Senior Vice President Maritime Affairs at Carnival Corporation.
- Professor Dominic Hudson, Shell Professor of Ship Safety and Efficiency at the University.
- Dr. Johanna Hjalmarsson,?Informa Associate Professor in Maritime and Commercial Law for the University and a member of the Institute of Maritime Law.
- Professor Ajit Shenoi (Panel Chair), Director of the SMMI and Engineering Professor of Lightweight Structures at the University.
