Following a comprehensive review, the Health, Safety and Risk Directorate has been restructured.
The new structure will deliver a risk-based approach to the provision of the Directorate’s services – i.e. a more targeted approach where colleagues are assigned to specific areas based upon their safety specialisms, rather than working more generally. This approach was agreed by the University Executive Board in 2019, including the introduction of Faculty Liaison contacts effective 1 September 2019.
The individuals assigned to the Faculty/Professional Service liaison positions are outlined below. The relevant individual for your area will be your first and key point of contact for all Health, Safety and Risk matters, and will be supported by a team of technical specialists with a thorough understanding of their respective area of risk.
