Online eight week Mindfulness course for our students

Please note, this course is now full. Get in touch with the Enabling Team using the email at the bottom of this article to request to be added to the waiting list for this course. We will keep you updated on more mindfulness courses in the future so watch this space.

Hugely popular last year, Enabling Services is once again offering an Eight Week?Mindfulness course for our existing students; this year we are running this online.

The course is due to run each Wednesday from 7 October 25 November between 14:0016:00.

Mindfulness is about learning to be in the moment, moving?away from ruminating on the past or worrying about the future. Studies?have?shown?that this helps to reduce the level of stress we experience as individuals.

In this course, you will learn a range of formal and informal practices which include meditation and a variety of cognitive exercises aimed at bringing greater awareness, clarity and concentration.

The course will require you to attend an online group session for two hours per week, as well as complete daily practice at home.

After you have completed an application form, you will be invited for an informal pre-course interview.
