The appraisal training offer has recently been reviewed, and new training resources and workshops will be made available to support both appraisers and appraisees in readiness for the opening of the appraisal conversation window in June.
New mandatory training for appraisers
From 1 April there was a change to the mandatory appraisal training for all new appraisers and appraisers who have not completed the previous ‘Appraising with confidence’ or ‘License to Appraise’ workshops.
An Appraisal Knowledge Assessment will replace the previous mandatory workshop appraisers were required to attend. You can find out more about the new process in our recent line manager briefing.
