Research/KEE focused:
1 July – Introduction to leadership for researchers
An introduction to key leadership concepts, with an insight into the changed nature of leadership in HE and research.
17 July – Partnership and Collaboration IV: Supporting Spaces and Structures for Serendipity
A session reviewing and building upon findings from Partnership and Collaboration III.
22 July – Social Values and Impact (In-Person Event) for WSA colleagues only.
Explore connections between research impact and social value.
Various dates in July – Demystifying the PhD workshop series
Following on from a successful programme to introduce current students to the possibility of PhD study, there is a new four-part series for research and KEE staff or anyone with an interest in PhD Study.
Education focused:
16 July – What is STARS / STARS Lite, and how can it help your programme team develop assessment for learning?
An introduction to the Assessment Consultancy, STARS and STARS Lite for programme teams, including the process of STARS and STARS Lite (CHART, AEQ, focus groups and reporting).
17 July – Teaching in an international context (In-person)
A practical workshop designed to help you develop effective strategies for communicating with diverse cohorts of students in lectures and seminars.
22 July – AI and Education – Guest Lecture by Professor B Mairéad Pratschke
An introduction to the learning theories and digital frameworks that educators can use to design learning using generative AI.
24 July – Situational Leadership (SLII) for Programme Leads
An introduction to the Situational Leadership model (SLII) in the context of the Programme Leads role.
