QS World University Rankings 2026

The University has maintained its place as a top 100 university in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2026 which are released today. The University is ranked 87th globally, down 7 places since last year.

The?QS (Quacquarelli Symonds)?rankings are based on a range of indicators that focus on excellence in teaching and research, the reputation of universities amongst employers and fellow academics, and the international mix of students and staff.

BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 scores have improved in seven out of the nine metrics – testament to the hard work of colleagues across the University over the last year to improve our scores, particularly around Academic and Employer Reputation metrics. However, there have been movements across global institutions and changes to how QS organises the data?that have impacted on our overall rank this year.

The University Rankings group, chaired by Professor Andrew Atherton, Vice-President International and Engagement, is working on both short-term and long-term plans to deliver substantial rank improvements in the QS over the next few years.
