The Online Option Choice system, which you can use to select your optional modules for the upcoming academic year, opens on Wednesday 2 July at 10:00 (BST) and closes on Wednesday 23 July at 17:00 (BST). You can make your choices even if your results for the 2024/25 academic year are currently unavailable.
How to choose your modules?
If you are eligible to select your modules, you will receive step-by-step guidance on how use the Online Option Choice system to select your modules for the 2025/26 academic year via email on Tuesday 1 July.?
To explore the modules available as part of your course, head to the Programme and Module Information page. The Customise your degree page also has useful information on how you can tailor your degree with an interdisciplinary module. Head to the ‘Explore your module choices’ SUSSED piece for more information on what module information is available and where.

Draft timetable now available?
The draft timetable for the 2025/26 academic year is now available via drafttimetable.soton.ac.uk. You can filter by semester, module, programme, or location – this may help you with your module choices.?
