Last year, physical book stock at Hartley Library was reviewed as part of the University’s strategic and sector leading Collections Development and Discovery (CD&D) project. In line with our Collections Policy there will now be periods each year where we consult with you about library stock across all our sites. The consultation period has just opened and runs until 31 October 2025. As part of this annual review the book stock in WSA Library is also being reviewed.?

We are following the same successful method of academic, student and community engagement that we used in the CD&D project and all book stock for review can be viewed, downloaded and fed back on via the project SharePoint site. The review excludes items on reading lists, magazines and journals, and items in our archives and special collections.

The Library has organised drop-in sessions where you can come along and ask questions and you can also book appointments or ask anything about the review by emailing libenqs@soton.ac.uk.
