Dr Jelena Petrovic, PhD, MSc, MEng, is Associate Professor at the University of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 Business School. The main focus of her role is knowledge echange and enterprise. Jelena is Knowledge Transfer Editor of Human Resource Management (a Financial Times Top 50 Business Journal published by Wiley), and Chair of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Branch in South West London. Jelena has 30 years of experience in teaching, research, and consultancy in corporate governance and strategic international human resource management in the UK and internationally. She is actively engaged in industry collaborations and developing partnerships through design and delivery of executive development workshops, consultancy, and management Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (mKTPs). Examples include Mercer (ORC Worldwide), the Guardian, BT, Park Plaza Hotels, the NHS, and Volvo Cars.

Current research
Jelena's current research interests are in:
1) HR professional contribution to business strategy (surprisingly, few academic studies take into account specific properties of top management teams and boards that result in complex dynamics that impact on HR professional strategic influence).
2) CEO pay - A behavioural perspective (a different perspective to the economic and finance perspective that traditionally dominated a debate on CEO pay)

Jelena is a Senior Fellow of The Higher Education Academy and a Certified Management and Business Educator. Throughout her career, she has been nominated for various learning and teaching awards. Jelena is currently teaching on the School's MBA and MSc HRM programmes.

Biography
Jelena has 30 years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy in the UK and internationally, including 20 years of programme management experience in the UK higher education setting.
Jelena was awarded the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Chevening Scholarship for my Masters in HRM at the University of Surrey. She has also received the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and Emerald Publishing Group award for her PhD in Strategic Leadership and Governance from Cranfield University.
