The Resilient Coastal Communities and Seas Network Launch

The BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 Institute for Arts and Humanities and BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 Marine and Maritime Institute are co-founders of the Coast-R Network alongside universities in Aberystwyth, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds and Liverpool, and a diverse range of partners with an interest in coastal resilience.

The network is funded by UKRI and DEFRA funded COAST-R Network. It's an inclusive and collaborative community of practice working to build knowledge, action and resilience for UK coastal communities and seas.

Transnational and diasporic cultures book launch

The event was the first of a series of themed book launches that celebrate the landmark publications and blue-sky research of colleagues working in the arts and humanities.

Networks of Practice: value exchange and field configuration in the creative and cultural economy

Creative Network South and the Film & Media Department at Solent University are pleased to invite you to this half-day creative industries symposium “Networks of Practice: value exchange and field configuration in the creative and cultural economy”.

The event is aimed at scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and strategists with an interest in the creative and cultural sector. It will explore how a Networks of Practice approach can enhance our understanding of the social and cultural value that the sector provides.

The symposium promises a rich exploration of value exchange networks and the evolving dynamics within creative industries. Through a series of compelling research papers, the event will delve into themes of sustainability, inclusivity, and economic vitality in post-pandemic landscapes.

A special evening of short talks by humanities scholars on the topic of artificial intelligence, followed by a reception and a showing of the 2013 Spike Jonze film 'Her'.
